Chambers Bay Golf Course

What was once a productive sand and gravel quarry is now the Scottish and Irish links inspired Chamber’s Bay Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The 18-hole public course located just outside Tacoma, Washington winds through a stunning coastal setting among windswept dunes and native fescue grasses. Similar to many European public courses, Chambers Bay Golf Course is bisected by the SoundView multi-purpose trail. Open to all, the trail provides public access through the golf course and along the western edge of the property that borders Puget Sound. Chambers Bay has been selected as hosts for the 2010 U.S. Amateur and the 2015 U.S. Open Golf Championships.
